Team

Our Team

We are a small team based in a close-knit community, and that’s something we’re proud of. Being a local firm means we value genuine relationships, personal service, and taking the time to understand the people we work with. Our size allows us to stay approachable, flexible, and focused on delivering quality work with a human touch.

Sharelle Kusay - Principal Solicitor

Sharelle holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Southern Queensland and is admitted to practise in Queensland, as well as on the High Court Register of Practitioners.

She has spent the past several years working as a solicitor in the Lockyer Valley, building strong connections within the local community. In December 2024, Sharelle founded Perseverance Law, with an office based on Gatton’s main street, where she works alongside law clerk Breanna Purvis.

Sharelle is passionate about improving access to justice and has experience assisting clients through Legal Aid Queensland matters, reflecting her commitment to supporting people when they need it most.

Tracy Bowen - Solicitor

Tracy is a solicitor who studied at the University of Southern Queensland, she is passionate about using her legal skills to support others and make a positive difference in the community.

She brings valuable experience from her work with TASC Legal and Social Justice Services, where she advocated for social justice and human rights. Tracy also has a strong academic background in Germanic languages, literatures, and linguistics, which supports her ability to communicate clearly and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.

Tracy has a particular interest in promoting equality and fairness, and her dedication to this work was recognised when she received the Dame Quentin Bryce Domestic Violence Prevention Advocate Award in 2023. She is committed to continuing to grow her knowledge and provide thoughtful, supportive legal assistance to her clients.

Breanna Purvis - Law Clerk

Breanna is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws at UniSQ and brings a genuine passion for the law to her role. She has a particular interest in criminal law, supported by her previous experience working as a legal support officer.

Breanna plays an important role in keeping the practice running smoothly, with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach. She works closely with Sharelle, providing support across legal matters and helping ensure clients feel supported throughout their experience with the firm.
